At Zerin Gold in Freiburg we design and craft engagement rings in our own atelier, from the classic solitaire to a wholly personal commission. You choose the stone, the setting and the metal; we realise it with goldsmith precision.
The diamond is at the heart of it. We select it with you by the four Cs — carat, colour, clarity and cut — and work only with certified stones. That way you know exactly what you are buying and can weigh quality against budget calmly, with no pressure and no sales talk.
If the proposal is still a secret, we advise you discreetly — on your own if you wish, with samples for sizing and a solution for when the ring size can only be confirmed later. And when the day comes, we match the engagement ring beautifully to your wedding bands.

We choose the stone together by carat, colour, clarity and cut — always certified, so quality and price stay transparent.
Gold & platinum
14k and 18k gold in white, yellow and rose, or platinum 950 — we recommend the metal that flatters both stone and skin tone.
Bespoke commission
From first sketch to finished ring, everything is made in our atelier in Freiburg — not a catalogue piece, but your ring.
Discreet consultation
On request we advise you alone and in confidence, help with the ring size and find a way to keep the surprise intact.

Later we complete the engagement ring with matching wedding bands — a harmonious set from one pair of hands.

Every engagement ring is made in our own atelier — we set and polish ourselves, keeping full control over quality and timing. We buy diamonds only with certification and show you the certificate openly.
We advise honestly on budget. An impressive proposal ring need not be the most expensive piece in the window — what matters is the choice of stone, its proportion and a setting that shows the diamond at its best. We discuss the price range transparently, in line with the daily gold price.

How do I find the ring size without giving away the proposal?
It is often the biggest worry — and almost always solvable. An existing ring, a discreet hint from friends, or a later adjustment all help. We can resize the ring afterwards with no trouble if the fit isn't perfect.
How long does it take to make an engagement ring?
Ideally allow 3 to 5 weeks. If the proposal is already near, we can almost always find a solution — simply talk to us early.
