Small jobs such as resizing a ring or soldering a chain are often done within a few days. More involved making and reworking takes a few weeks depending on the piece — we give you a firm date in advance.

Can I have old or inherited gold reworked?

Yes, it is one of our most frequent jobs. We melt down your old gold or work it directly into a new piece — keeping both material and memory, and reducing the material cost.

What does a custom piece or repair cost?

The price depends on material, effort and weight. Before we begin we give you a transparent estimate — for larger commissions based on the current daily gold price.

Do you make one-off pieces from my own design?

Of course. Bring an idea, a sketch or a photo — we realise your design by hand in gold, platinum or silver, as a true one-of-a-kind piece.

At Zerin Gold the goldsmithery is in the house. From the first sketch through making to repair, everything happens in our own atelier in central Freiburg — not in a distant workshop your jewellery is shipped off to for weeks.

We craft one-off pieces to your wishes, set stones, repair rings, chains and clasps, and rework inherited or old gold into new pieces you will actually wear. That way the sentimental value of an heirloom is preserved and turned into something you love to wear again.

You speak directly with the goldsmith who handles your piece. We advise honestly, quote openly and keep quality and timing in our own hands — master craftsmanship made to last a lifetime.
